The BLESSED Man! Part 2

Greetings Brothers And Sisters. TODAY'S SCRIPTURE: PSALMS 1:3- And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper."THE BLESSED MAN" PART 2

The text shows, The Power Of The Blessed Man In the wisdom itself; and the wise man is likened to a tree of life in that his speech and activities are life-giving and restorative. The word river is the metaphor for abundance. The imagery of the leaves and the fruit assures us that we will receive God's blessing and will enjoy life as a gift of God.

We are encouraged to pursue the way of wisdom. The wise man is characterized by success. Prosperity of the righteous is a gift of God, a product of wise living. Success is not a token of God's presence, for the wicked may also prosper. Rather the righteous live with the hope of God's blessing.
